Account Manager

DPL-US (a division of Dr Paul Lohmann) is one of the leading manufacturers of high quality minerals in North America. We are offering an immediate start opportunity for a Customer Service representative. This is an opportunity in our Islandia, NY Sales Office. The ideal candidate will have experience in a professional setting and should have at least 1 – 3 years of customer service experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Customer Service
    (numerous contacts with customers and distributors all over the country)
  • Marketing and Sales actions
  • Data Entry
  • Sales Support
  • Order Processing
  • Planning and Scheduling
  • Inventory Management
  • Documentation Support
  • General administrative cooperation with other office staff
  • Possible contacts with our Head Office in Germany.
  • Involved in General Sales meetings and in Company meetings
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a minimum 1 – 3 years of previous experience

Import experience a Plus

Domestic Transportation and Shipping a Plus

Personable phone skills a MUST

Strong proficiency in computer applications such as MS Excel, Word and Outlook

Keen attention to detail

Problem Solver

Ability to work well independently or as a team in a small corporate environment

Strong organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to multi-task
